In a world that often seems void of these values, we strive to reignite the faith and valor at the core of our nation's heritage within the hearts and lives of our fellow citizens.
At CROSSFIRE USA, we are committed to help people love God and love others, producing a better morality and civility in America's citizens, homes, communities and culture.

At CROSSFIRE USA, we believe in the importance of compassion, kindness, and respect -- those virtues that have becoming increasingly abandoned and lost in our polarized culture and social media. Chief of all, we believe in faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is definitely love. We strive to embody these principles in everything we do, and we encourage others to do the same. We believe that by treating others with love and understanding, even when we vehemently disagree, we can create a better world for all of us.

Chuck Norris's co-author and researcher, Chaplain Todd DuBord (M.Div.), works to restore America's Christian heritage across the U.S. and help people rediscover God and the religious roots, liberty and moral principles that guided America's founders. Raised in an atheist and agnostic home, Todd started out in his 20s on an investigation (formally and informally) of world religions and the sciences.
Today, he is the Founder and Executive Chaplain of CrossFire USA, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity dedicated to:
Todd's resources and research, connection details, and his weekly FREE CrossFire Courier—a power-packed, faith-fueling digest designed to keep your mind equipped and your spirit inspired with the latest news, apologetics, and cultural insights—can all be found at www.CrossFireUSA.org.
Raised in an atheist and agnostic home in the Bay Area of Northern California, Todd spent his early adulthood sensing there was more to life than he had been led to believe. In his quest for truth and meaning, he sought out various existential opinions, searching through the sciences and world religions.
Through years of formal and informal research, he accepted the claims of Christianity as true while maintaining a deep respect for other creeds and confessions. He went on to earn a B.A. from Bethany University and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Over his eight years of undergraduate and graduate study, Todd developed deep areas of expertise, including:
While completing his eight years of intensive higher education, Todd also worked in the corporate business sector for a regional copier corporation. He served as the Operations Manager for the Southern California region, earning numerous leadership and management awards for his operational oversight.
Todd's primary calling has always been ministry. Throughout his career, he has served in prison and homeless outreach, drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs, and various discipleship roles. During graduate school, he oversaw a 13-facility retirement home and convalescent hospital ministry, served as a chaplain intern at the USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, and worked as a community outreach liaison at Lake Avenue Congregational Church in Pasadena, California.
His pastoral journey spans several decades:
In 2024, after 40 years of dedicated pastoral ministry, Todd retired from local pastoring to re-enter the broader domestic mission field of the United States full-time, launching his non-profit ministry.
Since 2006, Todd has served as a research assistant and personal pastor for Chuck and Gena Norris. In 2008, he joined them full-time to serve as the Chaplain of Top Kick Productions, supporting their Christian and humanitarian enterprises nationwide.
For 20 years, Todd has been the primary researcher for Chuck’s 2,000+ syndicated columns—including both his culture warrior column and his C-Force health & fitness column.
Through CrossFire USA's Books & Other Helps page, you can explore the three major books Todd has co-authored and researched with the Norris family:
🎖️ Supporting Our Troops in Iraq
In September 2007, Todd accompanied Chuck Norris on a bilateral trip to Iraq during the war. Together, they visited 15 military bases and ministered directly to over 18,000 U.S. troops. To view photos and read the moving personal stories from this trip, visit the My Trip to Iraq w/ Norris page.
Following his transition out of local pastoring, Todd launched the non-profit ministry CrossFire USA to focus his efforts entirely on national outreach. The organization experienced immediate, explosive growth, reaching over 76,000 people through its website alone in its very first year. GoDaddy officially informed Todd that CrossFire USA's digital traffic ranked in the top 5% of all Faith & Religion websites hosted on their platform in the past three years!
Through this fast-growing non-profit platform, Todd is actively committed to:

Chaplain Todd has gained national recognition for his tireless work combating historical revisionism and the omission of Christian heritage at American landmarks. He successfully led campaigns to restore Christian historical facts at the Jamestown Settlement and the Washington Monument. His discoveries and successful corrections were broadcast live on FOX News and other national agencies, and verified by Snopes (though the National Park Service never explained why they originally altered the sign to eliminate the meaning of the monument's Laus Deo—"Praise be to God"—inscription).
Todd has also marched and protested against religious revisionism at:
As an inspiring public speaker and writer, Todd utilizes a blend of deep historical quotes, primary documents, visuals, and humor to motivate audiences nationwide. His popular seminar and retreat series include The God Questions, America's Christian Heritage, Reasons to Believe, and The Case for Christ. You can view a 3-minute sample of Todd's teaching here.

In celebration of America’s landmark 250th birthday, Chaplain Todd DuBord recently taught a large crowd in Idaho, delivering an urgent, eye-opening video teaching and virtual tour through Washington, D.C.’s Bible-inscribed buildings, statues, and monuments!
Providing proof of how secular progressivism aggressively rewrites the past, Todd takes viewers on a powerful spiritual pictorial tour of our nation's capital. He reveals that America's Judeo-Christian foundations remain permanently etched into its landmark stones—from the halls of Congress to the Supreme Court, Washington Monument and the White House!

Far from just a history lesson, this dynamic video serves as an uncompromising battle cry for godly patriots to stop apologizing, stand up boldly, and defend the unchanging truth that this nation was built on: In God We Trust!
Special thanks to Pastor Jason and RCC (Regeneration Calvary Chapel) in Sandpoint, Idaho, where Chaplain Todd preached this critical message!
Married since 1983, Todd and his wife, Tracy, have shared 42 years of marriage. Tracy documented their incredible journey together in her book, I'll Meet You at The Dock: A Bipolar Love Affair—an inspiring, raw, and deeply moving true memoir of overcoming childhood trauma, navigating the heights and depths of mental illness, and discovering the healing power of unconditional love.
Together, they have two adult biological children, two children "adopted by marriage," and five amazing grandchildren. Todd currently resides in his rural mountain home base in the scenic peaks of Northern California—a place he affectionately refers to as his "conservative cave in California"—where he enjoys a good cup of coffee, exercising, reading, gardening, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
