At CROSSFIRE USA, we are dedicated to help people rediscover the religious roots, liberty and moral principles that guided America's founders, and how their faith can inspire yours. In a world that often seems void of these values, we strive to reignite the faith and valor at the core of our nation's heritage within the hearts and lives of our fellow citizens.
At CROSSFIRE USA, we are committed to help people love God and love others, producing a better morality and civility in America's citizens, homes, communities and culture.

At CROSSFIRE USA, we believe in the importance of compassion, kindness, and respect -- those virtues that have becoming increasingly abandoned and lost in our polarized culture and social media. Chief of all, we believe in faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is definitely love. We strive to embody these principles in everything we do, and we encourage others to do the same. We believe that by treating others with love and understanding, even when we vehemently disagree, we can create a better world for all of us.
Chaplain Todd A. DuBord was raised in the Bay Area of Northern California in an atheist and agnostic background. As a young adult, he sensed that there was much more to life than he had been led to believe. In his quest for truth and meaning, Todd sought out the various existential opinions and purposes for life, searching in arenas from the sciences to the world religions.
In his years of research, both informal and formal (B.A. From Bethany University; M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary), Todd accepted that the claims of Christianity were true, while maintaining a respect for other creeds and confessions. Todd's areas of expertise are in religious defense (apologetics), biblical interpretation (hermeneutics), historical and ecclesiastical theology, biblical languages and canonicity, American religious and church history, leadership equipping and training, and pastoral care and counseling.
While going through his seven years of undergraduate and graduate studies, Todd also worked in business for a copier corporation, at which he served as Operations Manager for the entire region of Southern California, earning many leadership and management awards over the years.
Chaplain Todd has also served in areas of prison and homeless ministries, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and various discipleship programs and church leadership roles. Through graduate school, Todd additionally served as overseer of a thirteen-facility retirement home and convalescent hospital ministry, a chaplain intern at U.C. Medical Center in Los Angeles, and a community outreach liaison at Lake Avenue Congregational Church in Pasadena, Ca.
Chaplain Todd served as a youth pastor (of a Foursquare Church) in the 1980s, an Assistant Pastor (of a Presbyterian Church) in the 1990s, and for 13 years (1995-2008) as Senior Pastor of Lake Almanor Community Church, located near Lake Almanor on the edge of the Lassen National Forest in Northern California. During his pastorate there, Todd successfully led a 10,000-foot Christian education building expansion in which they started a Christian school that continues to this day. A decade later, Todd also planted and pastored the non-denominational Mt. Lassen Community Church (2014-2024), which meets in an old-time theatre (Mt. Lassen Theatre) renovated and led by Todd & his friend and Executive Theatre Director, Gwen Salvador.
Since 2006, Todd has also served as one of Chuck & Gena Norris's research assistants as well as personal pastors. Todd accompanied Chuck to Iraq in September of 2007, where they visited 15 military bases and over 18,000 troops during the war. The story and some photos of their trip can also be located here on this website. In 2008, Todd accepted the invitation from Chuck and Gena Norris to join them full time in serving the diversity of their Christian and humanitarian enterprises as the Chaplain of Top Kick Productions, serving and supporting them and their leaders across the country.
For the past 18 years, Todd has also served as one of the primary researchers for Mr. Norris in his two syndicated columns: his culture warrior column and his C-Force health & fitness column. Todd also provided the research for three books with Mr. Norris, including his New York Times bestseller, "Black Belt Patriotism: How to Rewaken America" and his "Official Chuck Norris Fact Book: 101 of Chuck's Favorite Facts and Stories" about himself. Todd describes his "greatest honor," however, as spending two years traveling and co-writing with Chuck's then 90-year old mother, Wilma Norris Knight, her autobiography, "Acts of Kindness: My Story." Todd & his wife Tracy accompanied Wilma to New York for her interview on Mike Huckabee's then "Huckabee show" on FOX. You can watch her interview HERE. (The last time Todd & Tracy visited with Wilma was in August 2024, just three months before she finally went home to Heaven in Dec. 2025 at the ripe age of 103! She made an indelible mark upon their souls.).
Chaplain Todd has also gained national recognition in his work to restore Christian revisionism and omission from American historic sites and landmarks. He has successfully led restorations of our Christian heritage at the Jamestown Settlement (first English colony in America) and the Washington Monument (discoveries that were broadcasted LIVE on FOX News and other news agencies across the country--the FOX News segment can be viewed on this website by clicking HERE and verified by Snopes as well--though the National Park Service response located on Snopes never explains why the sign was changed to eliminate any explanation of the inscription LAUS DEO or "Praise be to God").
Todd also marched against religious revisionism at other U.S. historic parks, including Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were written), the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center, Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's estate), and even the U.S. Supreme Court. A few of his revisionist stories are contained within "Black Belt Patriotism." But alll of Todd's stories and revisionist research materials can be found HERE on this website.
Chaplain Todd speaks across the nation to groups and churches in a variety of service, seminar and retreat settings. Through this website, live messages, weekly newsletter, and collaborations with Mr. & Mrs. Norris, Todd has inspired countless Americans to fight for our country's Christian heritage, by sharing the stories in which he led revisionist corrections at U.S. historic places mentioned above.
As a speaker and writer, Todd is an inspiring educator and motivator, using a blend of information, historical quotes, visuals, and even humor. Many of his message series (given at various places around the country) are contained on this website as well. Some of his series include: his religious revisionism accounts at U.S. historic parks, “The God Questions: Answers to Life's Most Difficult Questions," "Ten Bible Prophecies: 10 Calls to Action,” “America’s Christian Heritage,” "Reasons to Believe," "How to Talk with God," “The Case for a Creator,” “The Case for Christ,” “The Way of Agape,” “The Armor of God,” "Seven Pillars of Health," "Facing Your Giants," "The Mystery of Marriage," etc. To see a 3-minute sample of Todd's teaching, click HERE.
To relax, Todd enjoys a good cup of coffee, walking with his wife, spending time with his kids and grandkids, exercising, reading, gardening, fishing, and just enjoying the outdoors in his rural home in the Northern California mountains. Todd is married to his best friend, Tracy, with whom he has enjoyed 41 years of marriage. Their love story was written by Tracy in the book, "I'll Meet You at The Dock: A Bipolar Love Affair," where you can read a sample on her website by the same name. They have two adult biological children, two "adopted by marriage," and five amazing grandchildren. Todd regards and calls his mountain home base a “conservative cave in California.”
